The Ballet Club's scholarship scheme
Each year, the Ballet Club awards two scholarships to young dance talents. One scholarship goes to a dancer in the National Ballet, while the other is awarded to the parents' association at the Ballet School. Through these scholarships, we support the stars of the future and contribute to strengthening the art of ballet.
Scholarship criteria
The recipient of the Operaens Ballettklubbs scholarship must be a dancer who has shown an upward curve in their performance. Dancers who are eligible for the scholarship must have been associated with the National Ballet for at least two years and be under the age of 35. The recipient must have danced central roles and distinguished themselves by showing clear development as a dancer, while at the same time having a desire to further develop their artistic achievements.
The scholarship recipient reports back to the Ballet Club on how the scholarship funds have been used.
